A New Year always holds so much promise. So much potential. 2015 is no different.
I am thrilled to have seen the start of the new year in a country I was new to (Suriname) and with people that mean the world to me (my hubby and my parents). As we stood there and watched the fireworks which signified the new year had arrived (fireworks that I might add I’ve only ever seen rivaled by a Disney theme park!) – we said thank you to 2014 and the shift into the new year was clear. And exciting…
Make 2015 meaningful.
I encourage you to set yourself goals with soul this year – goals that mean something more beyond being ticked off a list. What are your goals? How do they make you feel? Do they excite you? Challenge you? Frighten you a bit? Are you ready to tackle them so that you have a memorable (and let’s face it… awesome 2015?)
Check out the video below, filmed just after New Year at the beautiful Hermanston Lodge in Georgetown, Guyana (ahhhh, sunshine – I’m already missing the sunshine…).
Here, somewhat inspired by Danielle LaPorte’s “Desire Map” approach to goal setting – I encourage you to really consider how you set your New Year’s Resolutions this year. Yes it may be valid to set some of the same goals when it comes to anything that was unfinished… but wouldn’t it be great to take it to another level? To dig deeper and really think about why you want some of these achievements? What will it mean when you get there? The idea of setting goals with soul can be really life changing and something I’m looking to do more and more.
Here’s to you this new year. Keep in touch and share how you’re getting on!
